    The Staff Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to:


    1. Ensure AP transactions are coded properly.
    2. Ensure monthly accruals are properly booked, and reversed.
    3. Ensure transactions are properly booked in the month they are incurred.
    4. Assist with month end and year end close.
    5. Prepare monthly financial reporting package, and other monthly reports.
    6. Perform financial analysis.
    7. Reconcile Room and Board transactions with billing, and AP.
    8. Reconcile balance sheet and reserve accounts monthly.
    9. Maintain fixed asset sub-ledger in Oracle and reconcile with general ledger monthly.
    10. Compile statistical, financial, accounting and auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable.
    11. Handle all banking transactions indluding deposits.
    12. Perform financial calculations such as amounts due, interest charges, balances, discounts, equity, and principal.
    13. Assist in Billing Department as needed.
    14. Perform other duties as needed.



    Bachelors Degree in a related field


    Professional Experience:

    • 3+ years' experience as a Staff Accountant or in public accounting
    • Expertise in Financial Accounting and financial reporting
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Able to work as part of an inter-disciplinary team.
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) & PowerPoint
    • Experience using Oracle/HFM (preferred)
